The facts

All you need to know about our groundbreaking brews

What is CBD?

Also known as cannabidiol, CBD is a safe, legal, naturally occurring compound found in hemp and other strains of the cannabis sativa plant. While official research is still ongoing, more and more wellness practitioners all over the world are recommending CBD for its help relieving stress and keeping health in balance.

Who are Hop & Hemp Brew Co?

We are a group of craft beer lovers who bring together years of brewing experience (and many more of drinking expertise). Our mission is to bring you delicious, original craft beers that let you unwind without the downsides of traditional alcohol content.

Will Hop & Hemp beers make me high?

Only for their great taste. The EU-grown, broad-spectrum CBD we use is legally produced to contain no THC - the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis plants that gets you high. According to the World Health Organization, CBD has no effect that can lead to misuse or dependency. So while CBD is believed to relieve stress, you stay fully in control.

Can I take too much CBD?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) have deemed CBD to be perfectly safe and tests have been done with incredibly strong doses (over 100x more CBD than in our bottles of beer!) and has been deemed safe to use even at those high doses. Whilst we always recommend you to be sensible, there are no indications you can over dose at the concentration in our beers.

How much CBD is right for me?

This is dependent on the person, as with alcohol, some people react quicker to the CBD or react at a lesser dose. It's very personal, however, you should be fine sitting back and sipping on a few of them!

Can CBD affect my driving?

Our CBD is 100% THC-free. So it’s safe and legal to drive after taking CBD.

Can I get drunk on 0.5% ABV beer?

As a healthy adult, it’s impossible to get drunk on beers containing 0.5% or less alcohol. That’s because your body processes such low concentrations of alcohol almost as quickly as you drink it, rather than letting alcohol build up in your blood as with full-strength drinks.
